MY APPROACH

Whether designing a brand identity or capturing heartfelt moments, my goal is always the same: to create something that tells a story and leaves a lasting impression.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hello, I’m Jamie

The woman has her hair tied back, sunglasses, and is wearing a light jacket, with a camera hanging around her neck.

I'm Jamie Stryker — a graphic and website designer, illustrator and photographer who grew up in California and now lives and works in Scotland.

Over the past decade I've designed brand identities for restaurants, cafés, bars and small businesses on both sides of the Atlantic, illustrated for licensed apparel, and built Squarespace websites that founders are proud to send people to.

Most of my best work has been with hospitality and wellness-based businesses. I work with clients across Edinburgh and the UK, and remotely with clients in the United States — the morning here lines up neatly with the early East Coast workday, which makes the time-zone overlap easier than people expect.

If you're an independent business looking for a brand that actually feels like you, I'd love to hear what you're working on.

what I DO

I work in three main overlapping areas — brand identity, Squarespace web design, hand-drawn illustration. Most projects mix at least two.

how I WORK

Every project starts with a real conversation about your business, your audience and what you're trying to achieve. From there I move into research, then concept directions, then refinement, then delivery — usually four weeks for a brand identity, longer if a website or illustration suite is bundled in.

who I WORK WITH

Independent restaurants, cafés, bars and hotels, as well as wellness and therapy businesses. Small businesses with a personal voice. I'm based in Scotland, but a meaningful portion of my work is with US clients —the time difference has never been a problem.

She is standing on a sidewalk with plants, and there are decorative objects on the ground, with a pair of sunglasses on her head.
